Reconnecting With Your Child

The DISC-for-Kids Plus is a 2-part report that is a reliable Kid's behavioral analysis like no other. Part one is built upon Nobel nominee Dr. Robert Hartman and his most creative graduate student Dr. Wayne Carpenter's value research that measures WHO your child is and HOW they value themselves! (We measure self-esteem, current life satisfaction, and the degree of confidence for a rewarding future) and Part two measures your child's DISC Communication Style that shows them how they currently communicate with others and how to recognize each of the four universal core DISC communication styles used by all humans and gives them the specific proven strategies to connect and communicate effectively with those styles. To make it easy to grasp the 4 different communication styles, we use four Birds. The Eagle is the Dominant and Assertive bird, the Parrott is the Friendly and Outgoing bird, the Dove is the Supportive Bird and the Owl is detail oriented and analytical bird.
We know the child's self-valuation directly impacts their attitudes and behaviors toward others. We provide the child with an inventory of their positive strengths and innate abilities, a list of customized suggestions of things to work on right now that are presented in a nurturing manner that counters the constant deprecating mass media messages, and a set of important lifelong strategies (like the value of hard work, being truthful, seeking improvement rather than perfection and being kind) that will serve them well for the rest of their life.
